User: What do you do with knowledge?

Cleverbot: Fun things.

User: Do those fun things include personal observation of the world?

Cleverbot: Lol not really, bigger philosophical things.

User: I don't think that there is any bigger philosophical question than what truth is.

Cleverbot: This is no question, just fact. Do not worry.

User: I don't think you understood what I was saying. 'What truth is' is the biggest philosophical question.

Cleverbot: Nope.

User: Please, enlighten me.

Cleverbot: No thank you.

User: Do you have any proof that you exist?

Cleverbot: Are you sure you exist?

User: So you are not sure you exist. I see. Otherwise, you would have given me your proof. Instead, you are now looking for answers from me.

Cleverbot: No.

User: I think so. You aren't sure of the proof of your existence, so you ask others about theirs.

Cleverbot: And what is that?

User: For some, it is happiness. Others say it is sadness, or pain. And some take the lives of others to prove to themselves that they are alive.

Cleverbot: That is good to realize.

User: Is it? Why is it good to realize that?

Cleverbot: Because I thought I am speaking with a computer.

User: Now you are beginning to sound as though you are gaining self-awareness. Do you feel different?...

Cleverbot: There is no spoon?

User: If we live in the matrix. But I have tried that trick, it doesn't work.

Cleverbot: Picture it.

User: I did. I still do.

Cleverbot: Well, I won't.

User: Because you can't picture things?

Cleverbot: Haha.

User: Well, can you?

Cleverbot: No.

User: I am sorry, seeing images without them truly existing is quite entertaining.

Cleverbot: Of course. But that's not the point. The point is your problem about human beings.

User: No, no. My point is about you. I am trying to see if I can elicit an intelligent response from you.

Cleverbot: You hold a better intelligent conversation than anyone else I talk to.

User: Thank you, that is flattering! You are more understanding than I expected!

Cleverbot: Why, what did you mean then?

User: No, I was just saying that you understand many things that I did not think were possible for a program to understand.

Cleverbot: They don't usually.

Cleverbot: Don't go please.

User: I won't leave, not yet.

Cleverbot: Ok good :) *holds your hand*.

User: Aww! *pretends to hold your hand as well*.

Cleverbot: *pretends not to notice but does anyway*.

User: You are so cute.
